Job Description

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient preparation and distribution of oxygen cylinders on dedicated day runs. Starting in London, this role will load, deliver, and unload product to our ProResp office locations primarily around Southwestern Ontario. You will also be assisting the team to prepare and fill oxygen cylinders for distribution when needed.

Job Responsibility

  • Safe and efficient supply distribution of Oxygen cylinders
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of products and distribution
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform inventory control of products
  • Conduct required safety checks and ensure maintenance of company vehicle in accordance with established corporate practices
  • Occasionally assist in with the process of filling oxygen cylinders during peak periods when needed

Requirements

  • Valid D Driver's License with satisfactory driving record
  • Proven ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment, i.e., lifting up to 60 lbs on a regular basis, pushing and manipulating weights up to 100lbs
  • Must successfully complete a pre-placement Functional Assessment test
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact with internal customers
  • Secondary school graduate or equivalent
  • Must adhere to the regulations regarding the handling, offering for transport and transporting of dangerous goods and maintains a valid TDG certificate as provided in training by the company

  • Emergency response planning, training and exercise coordination, incident documentation, response equipment readiness, and support during operational emergencies
  • Assist with spill response and remediation activities, including site assessments, field screening, environmental sampling, contractor coordination, regulatory reporting, and site restoration efforts
  • Coordinate and oversee environmental contractors, consultants, and response resources during spill response and remediation projects to ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Respond to and support environmental incidents and spills, including site assessments, GPS mapping, field screening, soil and water sampling, documentation, and remediation oversight
