Our team is seeking a dedicated Medical Front Office Specialist to provide best-in-class service to patients and visitors in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This is a vital role within the clinic, supporting both our providers and patients through exceptional customer service and efficient administrative operations.
Job Responsibility:
Greet patients and visitors, creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere
Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage the provider’s calendar
Register new patients, verify insurance, and maintain electronic medical records
Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
Provide timely and courteous responses to patient inquiries and resolve issues as needed
Coordinate patient flow, ensuring timely check-in and check-out
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulations
Assist with other front office duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred)
Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with an understanding of insurance verification and patient billing processes
Nice to have:
At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred)
