Job Description:

Our team is seeking a dedicated Medical Front Office Specialist to provide best-in-class service to patients and visitors in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This is a vital role within the clinic, supporting both our providers and patients through exceptional customer service and efficient administrative operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet patients and visitors, creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere
  • Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage the provider’s calendar
  • Register new patients, verify insurance, and maintain electronic medical records
  • Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
  • Provide timely and courteous responses to patient inquiries and resolve issues as needed
  • Coordinate patient flow, ensuring timely check-in and check-out
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulations
  • Assist with other front office duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred)
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with an understanding of insurance verification and patient billing processes
