As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the full sales cycle in the designated region of Catalonia, from prospecting to closing and post‑sales follow‑up in public and private hospitals
Build and nurture collaborative relationships with Hospital staff and KOLs to grow existing business base by differentiating solutions and developing local product strategies through dedicated analyses market landscape
Create, implement and review territory business plans in collaboration with the Sales Manager to meet targets assigned and identify and act upon local opportunities
Conduct clinical and technical product demonstrations and train healthcare professionals, ensuring the correct and safe use of the devices
Provide, monitor and analyze regular forecast information on detail product, project, revenue and timings to ensure optimal results
Implement marketing programs and attend industry congresses, workshops and other events
Liaise with the Commercial Operations Manager and local technical service teams with regard to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and improve commercial impact
Handle documentation related to public tenders, including specifications, bids, technical requirements, and financial proposals
Requirements:
Successful and solid Hospital Sales experience and knowledge of hospital dynamics, decision paths and capital funding mechanisms
Experience in medical equipment sales for Operating rooms and Intensive Care Units
Knowledge of tenders/deal structuring and ability to negotiate complex sales at highest Hospital levels
Degree in a Scientific field preferred
Self-management and good organizational skills
Consultative approach, passionate about achieving goals and attentive to customer needs
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English
Availability to travel
