Job Description

Lead the development and execution of a scalable U.S. medical education and sales training strategy for Arthroplasty and Reconstruction. This role will build programs from the ground up, establish key physician relationships, and partner closely with Marketing to drive procedural adoption and commercial readiness. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep arthroplasty experience who can hit the ground running in a highly visible, field-facing role.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and implement a structured, scalable U.S. medical education strategy for Arthroplasty/Reconstruction
  • Establish and grow relationships with KOLs, advisory boards, and key physician stakeholders
  • Lead surgeon education programs, including residents, fellows, and emerging surgeons
  • Represent medical education at national meetings, industry symposiums, and training courses (e.g., booth support, presentations)
  • Provide intraoperative support, procedural feedback, and clinical insights to internal teams
  • Design and deliver structured sales training programs, including onboarding curricula and ongoing education
  • Develop competency-based training frameworks for sales representatives and distributors
  • Partner closely with Marketing to align education, messaging, and commercialization efforts
  • Support monthly training webinars and in-person training initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build consistent, repeatable training pathways (week-by-week onboarding plans)

Requirements

  • Proven medical education experience within Arthroplasty/Reconstruction
  • Strong background in joint replacement (knee and hip preferred)
  • Established clinical and industry contacts within Arthroplasty
  • Experience building programs from scratch in a growth or early-stage environment
  • Experience working closely with Sales and Marketing teams
  • Willingness to travel up to ~50% (U.S.), including proximity to a major airport
  • Prior experience combining medical education with sales training or marketing strongly preferred
  • Ability to teach, present, and engage both individual surgeons and large groups
