Job Description:

As a Medical Economics Analyst you will support local market network teams on implementation and administration of Value Based Contracting (VBC) agreements. The Medical Economics Analyst is essential for ensuring proactive tracking and facilitating of meeting VBC agreement incentive payment commitments throughout the contract life cycle.

Job Responsibility:

Support local market network teams on implementation and administration of Value Based Contracting (VBC) agreements
Ensure proactive tracking and facilitating of meeting VBC agreement incentive payment commitments throughout the contract life cycle
Work with scorecards and reconciliation payment requests and reporting
Take ownership of portfolio of markets and deals
Work collaboratively with negotiators and Network managers as well as Value Based partners
Participate in enhancement projects and process improvements
Support data for the right pricing and to support our provider partners to achieve improved outcomes for our members

Requirements:

1+ more years of Excel experience (Pivot table, Formulas, V-look ups) in professional and/or academic setting
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

Nice to have:

Experience in the managed care industry with exposure to value-based contracting
Experience with financial analysis and/or administrative claims data
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Exposure to SAS or other web-query based programs
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills
Possess analytical and problem resolution skills
Resourceful and quickly and successfully adapt to change
