We are seeking a dedicated Medical Devices Service Technician to join our team in Sittingbourne. This is a vital, full-time role focused on ensuring that critical nutritional devices are fully functional and safe for patient use. Job Responsibility:
Perform thorough servicing and repairs on nutritional devices, including diagnosing functional failures in feed pumps and replacing faulty components
Conduct comprehensive incoming and outgoing tests on all devices
Maintain accurate, compliant paper and electronic records for all testing, repair, and calibration activities
Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Ensure safety protocols and correct PPE use are always followed
Act as a mentor and role model for new and existing colleagues
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing repair processes and documentation, reporting suggestions to your supervisor
Requirements:
Previous experience in a technical field (professional work, vocational training, or substantial personal projects)
Exceptional attention to detail
Computer proficient and comfortable using databases and spreadsheets
