Vitaflo is the pivotal business within Nestlè Health Science focused on Rare Metabolic Disease, such as inborn metabolic errors of Amino-acids, Drugs resistant Epilepsy and Kidney disorders. This is a highly scientific, competitive environment where Drugs and Nutrition could compete and collaborate accordingly to health care professionals teams’ decisions. Within Vitaflo Italian team, we are looking for a medical representative to promote and sell clinical nutrition in Sicily and Calabria focusing on Health Care Professionals operating in Inborn Metabolic Errors Hospital Centres. The medical representative’s responsibilities include persuading potential customers to purchase company clinical nutrition, identifying prospective business opportunities for the company and providing the relevant departments with customers’ feedback. You should also be able to attend company meetings and training sessions. To be successful as a medical representative, the candidate must have a negotiation attitude to enhance relationship with Hospital and Territorial HCPs, as well as a bold scientific approach to be recognized as a reliable partner for such peculiar patients’ therapies

Job Responsibility

  • Selling the company's clinical nutrition to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals
  • Scheduling appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to promote company products
  • Building and maintaining good business relationships with customers, both HCPs and Phama Distrbutors to encourage purchases
  • Following up on leads generated by the company
  • Preparing presentations for potential customers
  • Researching competitor’s products and their respective market performances
  • Keeping abreast of new developments in the medical field to determine the effect of such developments on the company's business strategies
  • Liaison with doctors, hospitals and medical staff

Requirements

  • Degree in Scientific subjects (eg. IMS, Pharmacy, CTF, Biotecnology, Biologic Science, Dietitian)
  • 5+ year of documented professional experience in the field of nutrition will be considered as a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience as Medical Delegate, alternatively proven experience in Hospital healthcare system
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Valid driver's license (Patente B)
  • Solid scientific background
  • +5y activity in the field of clinical nutrition/pharma
  • previous experience in health care system
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills: ability to create and execute territory action plans
  • Effective communication skills: advocacy
  • Exceptional customer service skills: buil strong and fair business relationships
  • Persuasive and resilient
  • Ability to travel independently and frequently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, basic competences in AI prompt research (plus)

Nice to have

  • 5+ year of documented professional experience in the field of nutrition will be considered as a plus
