Job Description

Doctolib is looking for a medical data intern to join the Terminology and ontology team within our Medical Excellence department and contribute to medical initiatives with a direct impact on public health. You will work directly with the Terminology and ontology team leader. We collaborate closely with healthcare professionals (doctors, physiotherapists, etc.). You will participate in the development of our Patient Mobile App in Italy which enables the patient to book appointments, manage his health data, share them with his medical practitioners and be better-informed on health subjects.

Job Responsibility

  • Collect and format the different set of terms we will need to describe pathologies, allergies, treatments… based on standard terminologies (like ICD10 or SNOMED CT)
  • Adapt the labels of these terms to provide patient understandable labels
  • Translate labels from english to italian
  • Choose/filter the terms to use. Validate your choices with medical experts
  • Share your work and methodology with the terminology team and the product team
  • Deliver these set of terms to the tech teams using the right format

Requirements

  • Medical skills (your diploma integrates medical domain learning)
  • Medical data or Terminology skills (like ICD10, SNOMED CT…)
  • Word and Excel
  • Python programming
  • Attention to detail and rigor
  • Italian speaker
  • Good understanding of French or English to communicate with the Teams
