Job Description

Robert Half is seeing skilled, data-oriented candidates for a long-term contract with a large financial client onsite in Brooklyn, NY! In this Medical Data Entry Clerk role, you will be responsible for high volumes of data entry. The Medical Data Entry Clerk will manage review, auditing, and analytics of healthcare documentation. This is a long-term opportunity with the chance for a permanent role.

Job Responsibility

  • Reviewing and auditing documentation for the correct information
  • Extracting and manually keying in data
  • Reviewing records for correct coding
  • Reviewing and auditing medical claims and EOBs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior medical administration experience – billing, EOBs, scribing, coding
  • Must pass a typing speed test (45 WPM) and medical terminology assessment (75%)
  • HIPPA familiarity
