We are seeking a Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, call center experience, and the ability to support patients with billing and payment-related questions.
Job Responsibility
Handle approximately 60 calls per day in a fast-paced call center environment
Answer inbound phone calls and assist patients with questions related to their accounts, services received, and payment options
Remind patients of the reason for their doctor visit and provide clear, professional support
Help patients with payment-related inquiries, including payment plans and financial planning assistance
Make outbound calls to follow up with patients regarding balances, payments, and account updates
Process returned mail and update patient account information as needed
Run credit card payments securely and accurately
Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Requirements
Previous experience in medical customer service, healthcare administration, or a call center environment preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable discussing billing, payments, and financial assistance with patients
Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Basic computer and payment processing skills preferred
