We are looking for a dedicated Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing healthcare orders and interacting with medical professionals to ensure smooth operations. This position is perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering excellent service in a healthcare environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation and signatures for orders
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure accurate data entry and organization
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products to support daily administrative tasks and documentation
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to order management and customer inquiries
  • Upload and maintain accurate documentation in the system, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and medical professionals, addressing questions and concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure smooth workflow
  • Follow established protocols and processes to support healthcare operations efficiently
  • Participate in training programs to familiarize yourself with company systems and procedures
  • Maintain professionalism during interactions and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in healthcare or medical customer service is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and medical professionals
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and accuracy
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology is beneficial
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing documentation
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures during training
