Retrieve medical records from various healthcare facilities on behalf of health plans and other clients for retrospective and prospective reviews. Scan medical records/charts and upload documents into the system by end of day; any remaining files can be uploaded from home. Travel to medical offices within Bayshore, NY, and surrounding regions (up to 60 miles). Utilize EMR systems and basic computer functions to download, upload, store, organize, and transfer files across devices and platforms. Maintain detail oriented communication with facility staff and represent the organization with professionalism and reliability.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Personal auto insurance/liability policy in the team member’s name
Reliable and secure internet (minimum 50 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience using EMR applications such as Epic, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, etc.
Ability to download/upload files, store them in organized folders, and transfer documents between software, desktop folders, and flash drives
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Ability to use telephone or headset equipment for two‑way communication
Must be able to work varying schedules based on project needs (3–5 days a week
gaps between projects may occur)
Nice to have:
Document imaging or scanning experience is a plus
