Robert Half is seeking a detail‑oriented, patient‑focused Remote Medical Call Center Representative to join our growing remote team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients calling in with questions about their medical bills. Job Responsibility:
Answer high‑volume, continuous inbound calls from patients with billing questions
Review account details, statements, insurance information, and payment histories while on the call
Clearly explain charges, balances, payment options, and next steps in a professional, empathetic manner
Document all call activity and patient interactions accurately in the system
Collaborate with internal billing, insurance, and revenue cycle teams when escalations or follow‑ups are needed
Maintain department standards for call quality, accuracy, productivity, and patient satisfaction
Protect patient information and adhere to HIPAA and all compliance guidelines
Requirements:
1+ year of call center, customer service, medical billing, patient financial services, and/or related
Ability to handle back‑to‑back calls for the majority of the workday with a calm, positive demeanor
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex billing information
High attention to detail and comfort navigating multiple systems at once
Reliable high‑speed internet and a distraction‑free workspace
Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to meet performance expectations
