Medical Billing Specialist

• Process and submit insurance claims (electronic and paper) accurately and timely
• Review medical records and documentation to ensure proper billing codes
• Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and rejections with insurance providers
• Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and industry standards
• Assist with patient billing inquiries and provide clear, professional communication

• 1+ year of experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle
• Proficiency with billing software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required
