Job Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Clerk for a local client in North OKC. This is a full-time, onsite position—with the potential to become a permanent role after 90 days. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and has hands-on experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and true medical accounts receivable (AR) functions.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance carriers
  • Review and post payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage insurance denials, appeals, and follow-up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement
  • Maintain and update patient billing records and related documentation
  • Assist with patient billing inquiries, statements, and collections as needed
  • Support compliance with HIPAA and other industry regulations

Requirements

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with both Medicaid and Medicare billing (required)
  • Strong true Medical AR experience (required)
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work 100% onsite, Mon–Fri, in North OKC
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
