Job Responsibility:
Processing insurance claims accurately to ensure timely payment
Following up on denied or delayed claims and resolving issues proactively
Communicating directly with insurance companies to understand and prevent recurring denials
Navigating multiple insurance websites and portals
Managing medical billing through an established (older) billing system
Supporting patient billing and related administrative tasks (for full‑time role)
Requirements:
Medical billing and insurance experience (some experience required)
Comfort communicating by phone with insurance companies
A proactive, “figure it out” mindset
Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
Professionalism — no drama, no negativity, no finger‑pointing
Adaptability and openness to learning systems and processes
