5 years of experience in medical biller
Knowledge of medical terminology
CRCP-P, medical coding certification, billing compliance, and CDM experience preferred
Expertise in physician-driven revenue cycle environments and operation in which they serve including multi-specialty group practices, faculty practices, PSCs, or other ambulatory care settings
Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation tools such as macros
Knowledge of Athena, ModMed, Epic, TheraOffice, Collection Agency, and Patient Financial Service calls preferred

Job Responsibility

Develops and maintains billing operation performance benchmarks and implements reporting mechanisms to monitor performance against such benchmarks
Develops, maintains and enhances reports for all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management
Assists in implementing and managing quality assurance routines and management reporting to ensure that vendors are performing job duties as expected
