Job Description:

This position is responsible for fully performing basic Medical Assistant duties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow
  • Responsible for all front desk duties specific to department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information and other patient documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
  • 1+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Able to communicate effectively with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Able to organize changing work assignments
  • Medical terminology knowledge (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (Preferred)
