Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for the Baptist San Jose Pediatrics office, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity. The experienced candidate will perform back-office duties such as assisting the provider and administering vaccines. Must be comfortable working with children.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides medical assistance to physician
  • Obtains vital signs
  • Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
  • Maintains medical documentation
  • Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
  • Processes prescription requests and referrals

Requirements

  • 2 years Patient Care Experience
  • Experience in Physician's office
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
