Job Responsibility

  • Travel with our health care professionals to clinics in area nursing homes and long-term care facilities to ensure that residents are receiving the podiatry care they need
  • Arrive before the doctor to get the clinic set up
  • Check-in with facility, confirm room #’s, location and scrub the schedule actual vs. scheduled residents
  • Transport patients to and from the exam area in the building
  • Assist with doctor with preparing the patient for foot exam (removing shoes/socks etc)
  • Substantial amount of drive time (up to 3 hours each way)
  • Assist the doctor with administrative duties as necessary (updating charts, etc)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or within a nursing home setting is a plus
