Requirements

CPR Certification required
Medical Assistant certification or registration
3-5 years in a Medical Assistant role preferred
EMR experience required
2 or more years of experience working with geriatric patients
Phlebotomy Technician Certification preferred
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
Demonstrates problem-solving skills, accountability, and a flexible, positive attitude
Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary)
US work authorization

Job Responsibility

Ensures efficient patient flow by rooming patients
Delivers exceptional patient experience
Obtains vital signs, chief complaint and reviews medications
Delivers patient screenings per protocols
Orders supplies and stocks exam rooms
Conducts routine quality control checks
Ensures exam rooms are clean, safe, and ready for patient visits
Provides telephonic support to patients
Assists with home based support for high risk members
Administers vaccinations and performing procedures
