Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for our Baptist Neurology office located at the Baptist Clay. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity Monday through Friday. Some travel to other locations is required when needed. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs. Experience preferred but new Medical Assistants are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides medical assistance to physician
  • Obtains vital signs
  • Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
  • Maintains medical documentation
  • Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
  • Processes prescription requests and referrals

Requirements

  • 2 years Patient Care Experience
  • Experience in Physician's office
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Certified Medical Assistant Required
