Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate Medical Assistant II for our Baptist Metabolic Weight Loss Clinic located in Nocatee. This is a Full-Time opportunity. The experienced candidate will perform duties, such as rooming patients, vitals, chart review and prep. Experience preferred but new Medical Assistants are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Provides medical assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals

Requirements:

2 years Patient Care Experience
Experience in Physician's office
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant Required
