We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA-C will provide essential clinical and administrative support to our physicians and nursing staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting physicians with examinations and procedures
Taking vital signs
Obtaining medical histories
Preparing patients for exams
Assisting with minor surgical procedures as directed
Administering medications as directed
Performing electrocardiograms (ECGs) and other diagnostic tests
Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment
Assisting with wound care and dressing changes
Educating patients on post-procedure care and medication instructions
Recognizing and responding appropriately to urgent or emergent patient situations
Managing patient charts and medical records
Answering phones, greeting patients, and handling inquiries
Entering patient data into electronic health records (EHR) system
Maintaining inventory of medical supplies and ordering as needed
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited medical Assisting program
Washington State Department of Health medical Assistant - Certified (CM)
Knowledge of third party payer requirements
Strong aptitude for detail
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
Skill in using a PC
Nice to have:
One year Medical Assistant – Certified experience
