Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant for our Seven Pines office located in Jacksonville, Fl. This opening is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides nursing assistance to physicians
  • Obtains vital signs
  • Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
  • Telephone triage
  • Patient education
  • Maintains medical documentation
  • Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

Requirements:

  • High School
  • Driver's License - DMV
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
  • Certified Medical Assistant - any credentialing institution
