Proclinical is currently partnering with an innovative organisation at the forefront of precision oncology to recruit a Medical Affairs Lead for the UK & Ireland medical strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Affairs professional looking to take ownership of a market, influence strategy and work closely with Commercial, Market Access and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes for cancer patients.

Job Responsibility

  • Creating and executing the UK & Ireland Medical Affairs strategy
  • Building and maintaining relationships with leading Oncology, Surgical and Pathology KOLs
  • Leading scientific exchange, medical education initiatives and advisory boards
  • Supporting evidence generation, investigator-sponsored research and reimbursement activities
  • Delivering medical leadership across promotional review, internal training and cross-functional projects

Requirements

  • An MD, PharmD or PhD
  • Proven working years' Medical Affairs experience within pharma, biotech or diagnostics
  • A strong oncology background (breast cancer experience would be advantageous, although broader solid tumour experience will also be considered)
  • Extensive KOL engagement experience and the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on
  • Strong communication skills and experience working within cross-functional matrix organisations
