Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and proactive Medical Advisor to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This full-time, professional role requires extensive experience and a deep understanding of medical science liaison and clinical advisory functions. The position is responsible for the medical and scientific support, including technical advice to the Business Units and Pharmacovigilance/ Medical Information and Clinical Research teams in their assigned therapeutic areas. The position holder oversees the Medical Affairs function in India in their assigned therapeutic/product areas and cooperates with Regional Medical Affairs functions and relevant Global Medical Affairs functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide timely and appropriate medical review of all promotional material
  • Support BUs in transforming medical data into marketing strategy
  • Work closely with other members of the medical team
  • Build up good relationships with customers and TLs
  • Build strong relationships with internal colleagues
  • Provide development project and product training
  • Support and educate internal colleagues in compliance
  • Provide a comprehensive and proactive Medical service
  • Responsible for overall medical inputs to Integrated Brand Plans
  • Takes responsibility for study development programmes
  • Represent the client at external regulatory meetings
  • Respond to all external scientific and medical queries
  • Support the Local Safety Issue and Crisis Management
  • Reviews all local patient support programs
  • Develops, maintains and strengthens strategic partnership with relevant TLs
  • Provides high level medical advice to R & D Head
  • Conducts timely and appropriate medical review and approval of all promotional material
  • Helps transform medical data into practical information
  • Responsible for medical oversight for assigned therapeutic areas
  • Remains current with changing regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Doctor from a recognized Medical University (MBBS and MD)
  • 2-3 years’ experience as Medical Advisor in Cardiology
  • In depth Disease Area expertise and technical knowledge in the assigned therapeutic areas.
