Job Responsibility:
Coordinate patient appointments, manage calendar availability, and help maintain an efficient daily schedule for the office
Verify medical insurance coverage and confirm benefit details before visits, helping reduce delays in patient care and billing follow-up
Enter, update, and maintain accurate patient information within the electronic medical record system
Communicate with patients in a courteous and attentive manner regarding scheduling, documentation, and general administrative needs
Support front-desk and administrative activities by preparing records, handling routine paperwork, and organizing patient-related information
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy while using medical terminology appropriately in day-to-day administrative work
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure patient information is properly recorded and appointments are managed effectively
Requirements:
Experience in a medical administrative, healthcare office, or patient-facing support role
Working knowledge of basic medical terminology and the ability to understand common clinical language
Hands-on experience verifying medical insurance information and reviewing coverage details
Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and accurate data entry practices
Ability to coordinate patient scheduling and manage multiple priorities throughout the day
