This contract position requires an organized and proactive individual to manage administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer support within a medical imaging environment. Job Responsibility:
Answer and manage incoming calls, ensuring accurate information is gathered and one-call resolution is prioritized
Coordinate and follow up on addendum requests from radiologists or providers, ensuring clarity and timely updates
Handle outbound calls for critical results, effectively communicating with ordering providers
Assign and manage pagers for on-call radiologists, maintaining accurate records
Serve as a backup for general calls, efficiently forwarding inquiries to appropriate departments or taking detailed messages
Maintain attentive and clear communication with team members, radiologists, and providers
Support daily administrative tasks, ensuring all correspondence is handled confidentially
Utilize written documentation and team resources to perform duties effectively
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and task completion
Provide updates and solutions promptly to radiologists and providers, fostering trust and reliability
Requirements:
Previous experience in medical front office or receptionist duties
Familiarity with basic medical terminology and patient scheduling
Strong skills in email communication and handling confidential correspondence
Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining quality and professionalism
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Capability to learn and adapt to radiology-specific processes and protocols
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with providers and team members
Proficiency in using administrative tools and resources for task management
