We’re looking for a commercially driven Media Sales Executive to represent Essex Life, a prestigious luxury lifestyle magazine established since 1952 and celebrating the very best of the county. You’ll be part of LOCALiQ, the digital marketing arm of Newsquest Media Group, combining the credibility of trusted media brands with powerful digital marketing solutions. This gives you the ability to offer clients more than just advertising space - helping businesses grow through smart, integrated marketing campaigns across print and digital. Essex Life forms part of the Great British Life portfolio, a collection of premium regional lifestyle magazines across the UK. With a long-standing reputation and loyal readership, Essex Life is a respected platform for luxury brands, independent businesses and aspirational advertisers.
Job Responsibility:
Developing new business opportunities across print and digital advertising
Building and managing a portfolio of high-quality, premium advertisers
Selling advertising, sponsorship and branded partnerships
Taking a consultative approach, understanding client objectives and recommending tailored solutions
Positioning Essex Life as a trusted platform for luxury and lifestyle brands
Managing your sales pipeline to consistently achieve revenue targets
Building long-term relationships with business owners, marketing managers and senior decision-makers across Essex
Requirements:
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within media, advertising or a related commercial environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence selling premium or value-led propositions
A consultative mindset, focused on solutions rather than selling space
Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working to targets
A good understanding of the Essex business landscape is highly beneficial
A professional and credible approach when engaging with senior stakeholders
