The Media Production Project Coordinator supports the Digital Producer and/or Assistant Digital Producer with the design, production and implementation of digital media elements throughout a project’s life-cycle up through and including Final Installation and Delivery. This role is an integral member of the digital production team and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and facilitation of multiple necessary and significant tasks inclusive of creating shot breakdown sheets, organizing and tracking visual effects live- action plates, CG assets, and shot data in Shotgrid, communicating with vendors and other digital disciplines on delivery information, managing artist assignments, note-taking, and vendor i/o validation. This role is also responsible for supporting on site media installation work, coordinating site access, evaluating technical and creative dependencies required for media work, and facilitating work sessions in service of the overall show milestones.
Job Responsibility
Support the Digital Producer and/or Assistant Digital Producer with design, production and implementation of digital media elements
Create shot breakdown sheets, organize and track visual effects live-action plates, CG assets, and shot data in Shotgrid
Communicate with vendors and other digital disciplines on delivery information
Manage artist assignments, note-taking, and vendor i/o validation
Support on site media installation work, coordinate site access, evaluate technical and creative dependencies
Facilitate work sessions in service of overall show milestones
Update and maintain Media Production ShotGrid project and Master Tracker
Track asset and visual media clip licensing for clearance approval
Coordinate invitees for digital meetings, work sessions, and reviews
Download Dailies, create playlists in ShotGrid and Moxion
Ensure digital artists have access to assets and files needed
Schedule artist rounds for Digital Supervisor
Prepare digital delivery packages for reviews and turnovers
Strategize with Digital Producer and Media Producer on preparation for Installation
Facilitate on site Media Installation
Facilitate on-lining and off-lining of digital deliveries
Communicate clearly with artistic and technical teams
Demonstrate excellent meeting-facilitation, presentation, and collaboration skills
Requirements
2D and 3D software
Shotgrid or Airtable Excel
1-3 Years VFX production experience
BA/BS in television, film, entertainment or tech
Proficient in MS Office, Smartsheet, PowerPoint or Keynote, ShotGrid, Airtable, Excel, Photoshop
Understanding of 2D and 3D software and design packages such as After Effects, Premiere, Maya, Revit, Rhino, Unreal, Unity, and Motion builder
