Job Description

Hutton Broadcasting is seeking an adaptive Media & Production Assistant for temporary coverage. This position is available for immediate hire for the right candidate, with a formal start date of May 15th, 2026. This role offers significant potential to develop into a long-term position, but is a temporary position with limited hours to start.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide daily weekday weather for Radio Free Durango and weekly updates for Doggy FM
  • Record voice-overs for recurring segments such as “Pet of the Week” and client radio spots
  • Manage technical production and distribution for Durango Digs, Eggs Over Irie, and Comfort Conversations, including promos and podcast segments
  • Create station imaging and manage radio logs
  • Oversee monthly posting schedules and caption generation for clients (e.g., Seasons, Local First)
  • Maintain active social media engagement and handle web updates/paid promotions
  • Represent the station during live radio broadcasts for community events and drives

Requirements

  • No previous experience required
  • Computer literacy is required
  • Familiarity with radio and social media is preferred
