We are looking for a Media Planner to support digital campaign strategy and execution for a long-term contract opportunity in Chicago, Illinois. This role focuses on building thoughtful media recommendations, translating campaign goals into effective plans, and partnering with internal teams to keep delivery aligned with performance objectives. The ideal candidate brings hands-on digital media planning experience, strong analytical judgment, and familiarity with industry platforms and audience measurement tools.
Job Responsibility
Develop digital media strategies and convert campaign objectives into well-structured, data-informed media plans
Evaluate target audiences, channel mix, timing, and budget allocation to recommend effective media approaches
Use campaign insights and performance data to refine planning decisions and strengthen ongoing media recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align media execution with client goals, timelines, and reporting needs
Prepare planning documentation, communicate rationale behind media selections, and present recommendations clearly to partners
Leverage tools such as Comscore and DoubleClick for Publishers to support planning, trafficking coordination, and campaign analysis
Monitor digital campaign activity and identify opportunities to improve reach, efficiency, and overall performance
Requirements
Proven experience in digital media planning within a client, agency, or marketing environment
Strong ability to create media plans that align audience strategy, budget considerations, and campaign objectives
Working knowledge of digital media channels, formats, and measurement approaches
Experience using Comscore for audience or media analysis
Familiarity with DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) and related ad operations workflows
Comfort interpreting campaign results and using data to inform recommendations
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
