Job Description

T-Mobile is seeking a strategic and technically proficient leader to modernize and transform our Media Finance capability. This role will drive the evolution of media financial operations from manual, spreadsheet-dependent workflows to scalable, automated, cloud-based solutions that increase transparency, speed, and accuracy across the enterprise. As the Media Finance Modernization Lead, you will operate at the intersection of Finance, Media, and Technology. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing future-state processes, enabling cloud-based financial management environments, and reducing operational complexity across media investment governance. This role requires a systems thinker who can translate business requirements into automated solutions, eliminate inefficiencies, and build durable infrastructure that supports T-Mobile’s growing media investments.

Job Responsibility

  • Define technical requirements and implement the roadmap to modernize media finance operations, transitioning from manual spreadsheet-based workflows to automated, system-driven processes
  • Build and implement media financial workflows within cloud environments, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and secure access across collaborators
  • Identify high-friction, manual processes and implement automation solutions that reduce risk, improve accuracy, and eliminate dependency on sophisticated spreadsheets
  • Partner with agency partners, Media Operations, and Paid Media teams to integrate media investment data across planning and buying systems
  • Enable real-time transparency into media investments through structured data models and automated reporting tools
  • Drive collaborator adoption of new tools and workflows through training, documentation, and structured transition plans

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience implementing automation tools (e.g., workflow automation platforms, RPA, data pipelines)
  • Shown experience leading modernization initiatives within cloud-based environments (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
  • Proven success automating financial processes and reducing reliance on manual spreadsheet models
  • Ability to translate sophisticated financial workflows into scalable systems requirements
  • Strong program management and collaborator alignment skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presentation capabilities
