Job Description:

At 22squared, the Media Buyer is responsible for the evaluation and execution of print, out of home, sponsorship opportunities, and traditional (TV, Radio, and Cable) for an assigned client according to approved plans and deadlines. Additionally, a Media Buyer is responsible for delivering and optimizing media schedules to ensure the highest level of quality for the client.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and activating buys with media vendors and working with the team as a whole to meet client-marketing goals and objectives
  • This position will have a heavy focus on sponsorships, print, and out-of-home placements
  • Insures the highest level of stewardship while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Stays up to date on all market/technology trends
  • Media buys executed flawlessly
  • In some cases, responsible for vendor invoicing
  • Being able to analyze data against the defined campaign success metrics
  • Help to develop Request for Proposals and field any vendor questions surrounding the RFP with planning
  • Builds a positive image of the Agency in the community as well as internally with other departments

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in advertising, marketing or related program
  • 1-3 years of broadcast activation experience
  • Strong knowledge of broadcast marketing concepts and best practices
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
