At MMGY, we inspire people to go places. We have an immediate opening for a Media Billing & AP Coordinator based in our Overland Park, KS office. This is a full time position responsible for managing all media billing and media vendor payables, while acting as a liaison between Finance and Media departments across multiple offices. Ideal candidates will have a background in accounting or media with the ability to troubleshoot proactively and multitask while meeting deadlines. This position requires the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with precision and accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for all media vendor invoice coding and tracking and verification
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies with vendor invoices and verification
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
  • Route and oversee all media billing worksheets and invoices to media managers and account teams
  • Track all media billing and spend by client and vendor
  • Oversee accrued media reporting and reconciliation
  • Process and allocate all media third-party expenses by client/campaign
  • Manage all proof-of-performance tracking and collection based on client requirements
  • Assist with in-house programmatic media division – including payables, billing and financial reporting
  • Manage finance deadlines for media and account teams
  • Maintain all paid media projects and vendors
  • Assist Accounts Payable with media collections and vendor communication
  • Maintain positive relationships with media vendors
  • Other miscellaneous accounting and administrative duties to support department goals

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year accounting preferred
  • Prefer agency experience with familiarity in accounting and media
  • High level of proficiency with Excel and other MS Office tools
  • Experience in media software a plus
  • Must be very detailed, accurate and possess strong organization skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and eager to learn
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
