At MMGY, we inspire people to go places. We have an immediate opening for a Media Billing & AP Coordinator based in our Overland Park, KS office. This is a full time position responsible for managing all media billing and media vendor payables, while acting as a liaison between Finance and Media departments across multiple offices. Ideal candidates will have a background in accounting or media with the ability to troubleshoot proactively and multitask while meeting deadlines. This position requires the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with precision and accuracy.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for all media vendor invoice coding and tracking and verification
Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies with vendor invoices and verification
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
Route and oversee all media billing worksheets and invoices to media managers and account teams
Track all media billing and spend by client and vendor
Oversee accrued media reporting and reconciliation
Process and allocate all media third-party expenses by client/campaign
Manage all proof-of-performance tracking and collection based on client requirements
Assist with in-house programmatic media division – including payables, billing and financial reporting
Manage finance deadlines for media and account teams
Maintain all paid media projects and vendors
Assist Accounts Payable with media collections and vendor communication
Maintain positive relationships with media vendors
Other miscellaneous accounting and administrative duties to support department goals
Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year accounting preferred
Prefer agency experience with familiarity in accounting and media
High level of proficiency with Excel and other MS Office tools
Experience in media software a plus
Must be very detailed, accurate and possess strong organization skills
Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and eager to learn
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
