Job Description

Cella is seeking a high-impact Media & Digital Marketing Leader to steer a sophisticated in-house media practice for a global retail leader. This 6-month contract offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented 12-person team and manage significant investments across Search, Social, Video, and Affiliate channels. If you are a seasoned strategist who can navigate the complexities of a large-scale retail environment while fostering a culture of "intelligent risk-taking" and data-driven curiosity, we want to hear from you. This role is perfect for a leader who excels at bridging the gap between high-level vision and tactical e-commerce execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Leadership: Set the vision for the in-house team, developing media strategies that balance short-term KPIs (sales and visitation) with long-term brand growth
  • Team Management: Act as a mentor and coach to a team of 12 Associates, nurturing talent and ensuring a high-performing, inclusive environment
  • Performance Optimization: Oversee the annual media learning agenda, using data analysis to drive multi-channel testing and identify new customer growth opportunities
  • Stakeholder Influence: Create compelling narratives regarding the media landscape to educate and galvanize support from senior cross-functional leadership
  • Partnership Management: Own and nurture high-level relationships with key platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest) and external agency partners to ensure cohesive strategy execution

Requirements

  • 15+ Years of Industry Experience: Proven track record leading performance media teams at a large-scale internal or external agency
  • Leadership Breadth: Demonstrated experience managing and developing large teams (10+ direct/indirect reports) across multiple digital disciplines
  • Channel Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of biddable media (Search, Social, Video) and the ability to action insights from e-commerce performance data
  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex data into inspiring briefs and executive-level presentations
  • Industry Network: Established relationships with key vendors in the performance marketing space and a pulse on emerging industry trends
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required
