Job Description

Are you a highly skilled and meticulous Medical Technologist or MLT with a passion for precision diagnostics? Join our vital laboratory team! You'll perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests, providing the accurate and timely results crucial for patient care.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunohematology, immunology, and urinalysis
  • Effectively use the Laboratory Information System
  • Participate in performance/evaluation of quality control
  • take appropriate documented action
  • Operate and perform preventative maintenance on instruments
  • troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Responsible for collection and preparation of specimens for testing
  • Prepare specimens for outside reference labs when necessary

Requirements

  • MT: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science + accredited program completion required
  • MLT: Associate in Science degree + accredited program completion required
  • Certified by ASCP, NCA, or AMT
  • Eligible candidates considered if certified within six (6) months of hire
