• Utilizes current evidence based practice knowledge, the nursing process, critical thinking and problem solving skills to provide holistic care to individuals across the life span and care continuum
• Incorporates evidence when initiating changes to nursing practice
• Collaborates and communicates with the interprofessional team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Uses the unique and complementary abilities of all members of the team to optimize attainment of desired outcomes

• Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health)

• Basic Life Support - CPR, (Provided by AHA)
