Job Responsibility:

  • Prototype Design and Testing: Responsible for prototyping new mechanical structures, testing material properties, and investigating various challenges in 3D printing technology
  • System Analysis and Iteration: Analyze, test, validate, and iterate electromechanical systems to ensure a smooth transition of designs from the prototyping phase to mass production
  • Manufacturing Process Knowledge: Possess knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining fixtures/jigs, fixture design, injection molding, and die casting. Capable of designing parts that optimize cost while enhancing performance
  • Critical Thinking: Exhibit a high degree of critical thinking ability to find problem-solving methods, logically analyze issues, interpret results, and draw correct conclusions or define actionable items
  • Proactive Initiative: Demonstrate a strong action-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and a willingness to take initiative. Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends beyond work duties, such as through reading materials or personal project practice

Requirements:

  • Experience in team management
  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience with online design tools similar to Onshape or SolidWorks PDM
  • Proficiency in modeling methods where the entire 3D model is driven by and automatically updated based on master sketch parameters
  • Expertise in creating engineering drawings with adherence to standards for geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
  • Strong capability in creating detailed and precise process assembly drawings
  • Proficiency in spoken English
