At ASML, Mechatronics Technicians handle repair and maintenance of complex equipment in a dynamic manufacturing setting. As a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician, your main responsibilities will be supporting Coating (OFC) and Contact/Etch/Litho (CEL). You will handle various Optical Fabrication equipment, requiring care and attention. ASML's core values—Care, Challenge, Collaborate—are essential to this role.
Job Responsibility:
Support Coating (OFC) and Contact/Etch/Litho (CEL)
Handle various Optical Fabrication equipment
Maximize equipment availability and reliability by being effective at repairs and maintenance
Keep daily planning on track by communicating priorities, progress, and risks
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and statuses
Collaborate with Management and Technicians to establish and complete priority activities and maintenance schedules
Support Continuous Improvement of equipment and maintenance program
Inventory Management support and 5S LEAN
Provide additional support to other Optical Fabrication lines of business when needed
Wear PPE and embrace ASML 5S requirements
Requirements:
Must have 3+ years in electro-mechanical/mechatronics and an Associate degree, Technical or Automotive Certification, Military Technical training, or 6+ years relevant experience
Expertise in diagnosing failures and executing repairs proficiently on both electrical and mechanical equipment
Commitment to tasks and a results-driven approach to completing scheduled activities
Ability to document problems and actions taken accurately using factual information and relevant data
Accountability for actions and proactive engagement in resolving issues
Interpersonal and communication abilities to support cross-functional collaboration
Self-motivated and proactive work ethic
Excellent manual dexterity
Ability to work in a cleanroom
Wear PPE and embrace ASML 5S requirements
Handle parts that could weigh up to 35 pounds
Stand, sit, kneel and bend to load and unload surfaces of machine tools
Work in production areas maintained at 70 to 76 degrees and 40 to 50% relative humidity
Ability to work in moderate noise level
Travel occasionally
Must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations
Nice to have:
Experience with Thin Films Hi-Vac and related manufacturing equipment
Control systems integration experience
LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement background
