Our client is entering an big scaling phase in the Dutch market, moving from initial setup to high-volume, continuous distribution. Your biggest challenge will be establishing the local preventative maintenance framework from scratch while navigating international technical pipelines to minimize critical system downtime.
Job Responsibility:
Executing both preventive and corrective maintenance on automated warehouse machinery, conveyor belts, and sorting systems
Acting as the primary technical point of contact for Chinese equipment manufacturers to resolve complex system faults
Reviewing engineering documentation sourced directly from overseas suppliers
Assisting with PLC and automation troubleshooting alongside remote engineering teams to implement updates and modifications
Analyzing recurring machine failures to propose technical modifications that optimize warehouse throughput
Requirements:
Holds a technical qualification (MBO-3/4, HBO, or BEng) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
Has at least 3 years of hands-on experience maintaining automated machinery, conveyor systems, or industrial production lines
Is fluent or native in Mandarin to comfortably read technical blueprints and hold technical discussions with Chinese equipment suppliers
Possesses professional English proficiency to collaborate effectively with the local team floor in the Netherlands
Displays strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities across electrical circuits, sensors, pneumatics, and mechanical drives
