Located in a modern workshop in Rydalmere, this role is perfect for a mechanically minded individual who thrives in a high-precision, bench-work environment. You will be at the heart of the maintenance process, assisting with the disassembly, retrofitting, and reassembly of critical brake calipers and pneumatic valves. Job Responsibility:
Disassemble and reassemble brake calipers and valves in a controlled bench environment
Assess part conditions against engineering drawings and perform functional line testing
Maintain pneumatic components using specialized hand and power tools
Complete quality reports and checklists to ensure every component meets safety standards
Requirements:
12+ months of practical Trade Assistant experience
Proven ability to use hand and power tools for disassembly, cleaning, and basic maintenance
Partial completion of a mechanical trade (Local or Overseas) is highly desirable
Valid White Card and full Australian working rights/residency
Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean workshop environment
Nice to have:
Valid NSW LF Forklift License
Background in Oil and Water Pump maintenance
