Job Description

Mechanical Technician performing test in our Validation Test Laboratory

Job Responsibility

  • Participate in troubleshooting
  • Implement continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain system documentation
  • Perform standard engineering test measurements according to standards
  • Prepare test samples according to methods and/or standards
  • Record test data
  • Maintain housekeeping/safety standards
  • Prepare test reports documenting the sample preparation, test methods, equipment, and conditions
  • Test samples disposal as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts
  • Interpretation of electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
  • Knowledge using bench test equipment (DMMs, Force Tester, Pressure Gages, Hipot Tester, etc)
  • 60% English

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar
  • Experience in mechanical measurements in a Laboratory environment
  • 1+ years’ experience in automotive industry validation laboratory environment
  • Knowledge in Mechanical concepts (Force, Moments, Torque, Pressure, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Automotive Products Validation Process and Terms
