Requirements

MSc degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Experience with R&D projects
Prior experience in Autodesk Inventor/Vault (or ability to switch from a similar design/PDM software)
Prior experience with FE (Finite Element) analysis tools (Hypermesh, ANSYS, Nastran, etc.), including statics, modal and dynamics
Prior experience in developing clean sheet designs and developing them to a conceptual working prototype
Creation and interpretation of manufacturing drawings
Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative and communicate effectively
A positive attitude and a desire to learn new things
Willingness to travel to testing facilities (~7 times per year)

Job Responsibility

Supporting mechanical testing engineering processes including vibration/shock testing, and CAD design for testing jigs
Successful coordination and completion of vibration tests for new subsystems
Successful coordination and completion of vibration tests for new-generation satellites
Delivery of custom mechanical testing campaigns meeting project requirements
Mechanical interfaces for vibration, shock, and other mechanical tests designed and validated
Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) designed, assembled, and verified for operational readiness
Effective contribution to the development and optimization of test jigs
Comprehensive and accurate technical documentation delivered
