This position conducts assignments to support the rotating equipment at HF Sinclair Midstreams pipeline. Rotating equipment includes: pumps, compressors, drive systems and similar. Support of these systems includes opportunities to improve system performance and reliability.
Job Responsibility:
Works primarily on pipeline equipment and pump stations
Ensures equipment is operating properly
Responds to upsets and abnormal operating instances
Verifies compliance with DOT requirements
Ensures operations and safety procedures are followed at all times
Represents the company to third parties
Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots electrical and instrumentation devices, and installs rotating equipment, pumps, gear boxes, and compressors
Recommend and implement improvements and/or modification in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters
Responds to emergency situations
Analyzes data on related components and systems, processes and methods, to aid operations with decisions
Upgrades, designs, configures, maintains and monitors related equipment and performance
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years job-related pipeline experience is required
A minimum of a High School Diploma and Vibration Analysis I Certification are required
Working knowledge of the pipeline industry or related industry
Strong background in rotating equipment, pumps, gear boxes, and compressors
An intermediate level of reading and writing ability and intermediate level ability to perform mathematical calculation is required
Must be able to effectively communicate
Must be able to read vibration signatures and evaluate machinery condition from vibration data
Must be able to isolate the affected machinery component, recognize various common problems, and be able to make recommendations for continued operation or scheduled repairs
Valid State driver’s license and proof of insurance required
