Job Description:

A permanent job opportunity has arisen for a "Mechanical Systems Integration & Design Engineer" within Airbus Defence & Space to be based on Getafe site in Spain. The successful candidate will join the TADAM-2 department at the Combat and UAV area and will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team. Platforms like Eurofigther, Eurodorne, FCAS or SiRTAP are ander the scope of our work. The Mechanical System Installation team stands for Quality & Improvement related to Fuel, Hydraulic, Environmental Control System, Equipment integration on aircraft among others.

  • Mechanical Parts Documentation for Manufacturing
  • Mechanical Systems Installation Documentation for assembling
  • Interfacing with external partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test report and Project follow-up meetings

Requirements:

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge and experience in CATIA and PDM/PLM Tools, as well as the usual back office tools (Office...)
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems & structures design
  • Knowledge and/or experience in work linked to Aeronautical military projects
  • Professional experience as Engineer / Designer on Fluid Systems Installations (hydraulic, fuel, pneumatics, etc) and Equipment installations (sensor & antennas, lights and cameras, cockpit installations, etc.)
