Mechanical Supervisor

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities across multiple project sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
• Lead and mentor mechanical teams, ensuring high standards of workmanship and compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications, providing guidance and resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning phases
• Monitor and enforce health and safety standards by conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines
• Oversee the installation and testing of HVAC, chilled water systems, and other mechanical infrastructure, with a focus on liquid cooling solutions where applicable
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and quality assurance documentation
• Support procurement and logistics teams in managing mechanical materials and equipment deliveries
• Assist in the development and implementation of mechanical commissioning plans and procedures
• Identify and escalate risks or issues that may impact project delivery or system performance
• Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties
• Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company and group policies and procedures

• Recognised trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Relevant certifications in mechanical systems, HVAC, or building services
• Proven experience supervising mechanical works in data centre environments or similar high-specification infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively
• Proficient in project management and reporting tools
• Flexibility to travel and work across multiple project sites as required

Desirable knowledge and hands-on experience with liquid cooling technologies, including rear door heat exchangers, immersion cooling, or direct-to-chip cooling
