Job Responsibility

Supervise and coordinate the activities of various subcontractors, foreman and chargehands
Establish and adjust work timelines to meet the construction schedule for the project
Taking responsibility for health and safety on site and leading by example
Organising workers, plant, machinery and materials
Supervising construction activities
Coordinates with all other crafts working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions
Identifying materials and equipment that may be required
Ensuring construction is carried out accurately, following plans and specifications
Conducts quality control inspections on project sites
Ensuring that contractor activities are properly co-ordinated

Recognised trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

Job Responsibility

Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities across multiple project sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
Lead and mentor mechanical teams, ensuring high standards of workmanship and compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications, providing guidance and resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning phases
Monitor and enforce health and safety standards by conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines
Oversee the installation and testing of HVAC, chilled water systems, and other mechanical infrastructure, with a focus on liquid cooling solutions where applicable
Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and quality assurance documentation
Support procurement and logistics teams in managing mechanical materials and equipment deliveries
Assist in the development and implementation of mechanical commissioning plans and procedures
Identify and escalate risks or issues that may impact project delivery or system performance
