Job Description:

Ark Mechanical & Electrical Services was created in line with the JRL Group’s philosophy of ‘owning the solution’. With MEP vital to the success of every project, the Group identified that dividing the package had the potential to adversely affect the critical path. Taking control of this, Ark M&E provides a complete mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) solution for large complex residential projects. We require a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Tower Hill.

Job Responsibility:

  • Mechanical installation includes LTHW / BCWS Risers, soldered copper in communal corridors, Henco and copper within plots, along with MVHR/ HIU / UFH / sprinklers / trace heating
  • Assistance in the delivery of the mechanical aspect of the project, whilst coordinating with the electrical department and construction team
  • Ability to supervise the mechanical installation comprising subcontractors, in house plumbers and pipe-fitters and improvers etc
  • Be able to carry out, edit and review: Quality Assurance inspections and reports, tool box talks, time sheets, and other project documents
  • Be able to review specifications, drawings and reports to ensure compliance and programme
  • Have excellent working knowledge of mechanical installation and possess technical qualifications

Requirements:

  • Good reporting and communication skills with an ability to get the most out of those being supervised
  • Residential experience required
  • CSCS card and trade qualifications required
